The research group Justice and Inclusion for Vulnerable Groups focuses on advancing human rights and social inclusion for vulnerable persons through justice and the rule of law. Despite the ambiguity surrounding the term vulnerability and vulnerable groups, we could identify a vulnerable person as any person who is most susceptible to harm in case of danger, such as refugees, detainee, youth, children, women, persons with disabilities and others. Our work emphasizes the importance of research dissemination and engagement with academic communities and communities of practice through projects, workshops and conferences, fostering dialogue on critical issues such as collective security, environmental justice, political inclusion, and social change from national and international legal perspectives. We conduct research papers, field studies, and academic consultations to understand how digitalization impacts vulnerable persons and their rights through the lens of media and communication. We also investigate the intersection of governance, public authorities, and the experiences of vulnerable persons.
