Welcome to the Liver Transplantation Research Group at the University of Jordan (UJ-LTRG)
We are a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, surgeons, researchers, and academics committed to advancing the field of liver transplantation in Jordan and the region. Our work focuses on both pediatric and adult liver transplant patients, with special interest in outcomes, quality of life, and long-term follow-up after transplantation.
Our goals include:
• Establishing a comprehensive registry for patients requiring liver transplantation in Jordan.
• Conducting high-impact clinical and translational research to improve patient care and outcomes.
• Promoting public and professional awareness about liver transplantation through education and community outreach campaigns.
• Laying the foundation for a National Liver Transplant and Research Center at the University of Jordan.
