The University of Jordan Liver Transplant Research Group (UJ-LTRG) participated in the Second Jordanian–Egyptian Conference on Gastroenterology and Hepatology and the 25th Conference of the Jordanian Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, held at the Landmark Hotel, Amman.

Dr. Fareed Khdair presented a talk titled: “Pediatric Liver Transplantation in Jordan: Current Challenges and Future Vision."

The presentation highlighted the current status of pediatric liver transplantation in Jordan, discussed medical, logistical, and financial barriers, and provided a forward-looking perspective toward establishing a National Organ Transplant Center in Jordan.

The conference gathered leading experts from Jordan and Egypt to exchange experiences and explore regional cooperation in advancing hepatology and liver transplantation.
