​Dr. Mohammad N. Alzoubi is currently the Program Director of the General Surgery Department at the University of Jordan, a position he has held since September 2024, alongside his role as a Consultant HPB Surgeon and Assistant Professor at the University of Jordan and Jordan University Hospital since 2020. His international training includes a Specialty Registrar fellowship in HPB and Liver Transplant Surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, and prior appointments as Senior Clinical Fellow and Research Fellow in HPB Surgery at Southampton University Hospital (UK). Earlier, Dr. Alzoubi completed his General Surgery residency and fellowship at Jordan University Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree from the University of Jordan Faculty of Medicine in 2006.

He has published many papers in international journals, including the International Journal of Surgery, Asian Journal of Surgery, Cancers (Basel), Annals of Surgery, and HPB. ​
