The Polymer Nanocomposites Research Group is committed to advancing the fundamental properties of materials, specifically focusing on enhancing mechanical strength, thermal stability, barrier performance, electrical conductivity, and antibacterial attributes. Our research involves the innovative combination of nanoparticles and polymers. We primarily focus on the utilization of advanced carbon-based nanomaterials, such as carbon nanotubes and graphene, as well as metal and metal oxide-based nanomaterials, including silver and zinc oxide nanoparticles and nanoclay. These nanoparticles are synthesized using both chemical and environmentally friendly methods. Subsequently, we integrate these nanoparticles into polymer matrices to enable diverse applications, with a particular emphasis on water treatment and medical advancements....More
