Spreading knowledge about obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in underrepresented or less-informed communities is crucial for improving public health and reducing health disparities. Many individuals in these communities may be unaware of the symptoms and risks associated with OSA, such as excessive daytime sleepiness, chronic fatigue, and cardiovascular issues, which can lead to delayed diagnosis and treatment. Raising awareness through education and outreach can empower individuals to seek timely medical evaluation and intervention, ultimately enhancing their quality of life and preventing severe health complications.
