The Deanship of Scientific Research at the University of Jordan held a training course entitled "Programs and Funding Opportunities of the Royal Academy of Engineering - United Kingdom", in which the Director of the "Engineering X" Program at the Academy, Mr.Waheed Azizi, spoke.
A group of faculty members and researchers in engineering disciplines participated in the workshop which came to build and enhance their capabilities in several areas.
The trainer discussed several topics, beginning with a brief on the Academy, its fields of work and programs, its achievements, and the opportunities it offers for funding projects while giving some advice for a successful research proposal.
The Dean of Scientific Research, Prof. Faleh Sawair, pointed out that this course comes within a series of training courses held by the Deanship of Scientific Research throughout the year in order to enhance the opportunity for university researchers to obtain external funding for their research projects.
At the end of the training course, the questions and inquiries of the participants were answered.
