The Deanship of Scientific Research extends its congratulations to the winning team of the project "Mediterranean Pilot Actions for Climate Change Adaptation", funded by the European Union - INTERREG NEXT MED, with a budget of €2.8 million and a duration of three years.
This project represents a significant scientific achievement, aiming to develop and implement innovative solutions to mitigate the impact of climate change on various environments in the Mediterranean region and the Gulf of Aqaba. It brings together research groups from Italy, Turkey, Jordan, and Tunisia, reflecting a strong spirit of international collaboration in addressing environmental challenges.
Jordan is represented in this pioneering project by the University of Jordan, led by Professor Fouad Al-Hourani from the Department of Biological Sciences.
