Financial econometrics deals with analyzing and evaluating the efficacy of the diverse measures and methodologies typically used in financial research. The purpose of this research group is to conduct empirical research in financial econometrics using data from the Jordanian and Middle Eastern economies. The focus of the group’s work will be on tackling econometric issues related to both banking and non-banking financial institutions industries including not only traditional but also contemporary issues that are drastically changing economic and financial landscapes on the local and international levels.
