​Prof. Ghada Tayem holds both a Ph.D. and an MSc in Finance from the Manchester Business School (the University of Manchester, UK). She is currently a Professor of Finance at the University of Jordan Business School (UJBS), a position she has held since 2024. In addition, she is serving as the Chairman of the Department of Finance at the UJBS since 2024 and has served as the Postgraduate Academic Manager in the Department of Finance since 2015. She held a visiting research fellowship at the University of Lancaster, and was awarded the Erasmus+ Academic Exchange Grant twice, at the University of Barcelona (Spain) and Södertörn University (Sweden). Prof. Tayem's research focuses primarily on the interrelationship between finance, investment, and governance, exploring how financial systems and institutional frameworks influence economic performance and corporate behavior. She has authored and co-authored several scholarly articles that continues to contribute to advancing research in financial management and policy, especially in the context of the Arab region.​
