Welcome to the Skin Genetics Research Group. <br>The Skin Genetics research group investigates genetic alterations that influence skin structure, function and disease susceptibility, as well as the study of genotype-phenotype relationships and molecular pathways involved in skin development and repair. We aim to understand how genetic variation contributes to disease expression and variability, with a broader goal of identifying actionable targets for diagnosis and therapy. Our research also addresses the role of genetic modulation and immune signaling on dermatologic conditions.
