​Gabriela Petrof is a Dermatology Consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital. She underwent specialist training in London and the West Midlands. She studied for her PhD in severe inherited skin disorders at King's College London in Genetics and Molecular Medicine. 

She is part of the Nationally Commissioned Highly Specialist Service for Epidermolysis Bullosa at Great Ormond Street Hospital, and has contributed to highly cited, peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Investigative Dermatology and the American Journal of Human Genetics.

Moreover, Gabriela is an active member of a number of British Association of Dermatology Committees, on a variety of dermatology current issues.She has presented at National and International meetings.​
