At the University of Jordan, our research group is at the forefront of exploring the evolving trends and innovations shaping academic libraries. With a focus on five key areas, we aim to reimagine the role of libraries as dynamic hubs for knowledge dissemination, technological innovation, and user-centered services. We are deeply engaged in examining how cutting-edge technologies are transforming library operations and services. Our research explores the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide personalized services tailored to individual user needs and preferences. We also investigate the role of machine learning in enhancing catalog management for more efficient resource organization and discovery. Blockchain technology is another area of interest, as we study its potential for secure, decentralized library data management.
