Dr. Mohammad Asad Ibrahim is a plant protection specialist with over 17 years of experience in plant disease diagnostics, pest management, and agricultural quarantine services. He holds a Ph.D. in Plant Protection from the University of Jordan, where his research focused on the pathogenic variability of oat crown rust (Puccinia coronata f. sp. avenae) in different oat genotypes.
Dr. Ibrahim has served in key roles within Jordan's Ministry of Agriculture, including as an extension officer and plant quarantine inspector, where he contributed to disease diagnosis, phytosanitary certification, and farmer support. His expertise spans biological control, plant fungal diseases, and integrated pest management. He is also an active researcher with several peer-reviewed publications on Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Bacillus subtilis, and pest susceptibility.
