A) Public Sector:
1) Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) - National Agricultural Research Center (NARC)
We are working with the MOA as consultants on issues related to national needs including plant variety protection, cultivar finger printing, and GMO regulations. In addition, we are partnered with NARC, which is the research arm of MOA in Jordan. We work together with NARC researchers on national projects including 'Mehras' olives, saltbush and saline agriculture.
2) Hashemite Fund for Development of Jordan Badia
We are working the fund head Dr Omar Gharaibeh to have access to badia growing regions to establish genome map for Samh.
1) Global Seeds (Breeding Research with PAS)
We are working the CEO, Eng. Samih Salem (E-mail: samihsalem2000@yahoo.co.uk) as the company provides greenhouse amd field facilities to test our breeding lines.
We are working with the Director Dr Ibrahim Alshomali (E-mail: ibrahim_alshomali@hotmail.com) to utilize their expertise in gene editing systems.
C) International partners:
1) FAO (Genome Research with PAS)
We are working with Dr Nizar Haddad, who is the Programme Director FAO Saudi Arabia for camel reseach.
2) AgroTec (Smart Farming Project)
We are working with AgroTec which aims to establish “AgroTec" centres in Universities of JO & PS and develop practical and innovative VET courses. These centres will promote cooperation between companies and VET institutions as well as create links between all stakeholders of the Agri-Food value chain. These centres will also assist in promoting the smart tools for enriching data through IoT sensor networks for soil-crop monitoring, processing, marketing and quality control.
3) Center of Excellence in Biotechnology Research, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia (Genome analysis with PAS)
We are working with Prof. Abdullah Al-Doss (E-mail: aaldoss@ksu.edu.sa) from the center to utilize their facilities in transcriptome analysis.
4) The National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture, Riyadh Technology Valley, King Saud University (Genomics with PAS)
We are working with Dr. Ahmed Abdelrahim Mohamed Ali (E-mail: asaif@ksu.edu.sa) to utilize their experience in genomics.
5) NYU Abu Dhabi

Amandine Cornille's academic journey includes a Master's at ENS Ulm (France) and a PhD at Université Paris Sud (2009-2012). She completed postdocs at Uppsala University (2013-2015) and ETH Zurich (2015-2017). In 2017, she became a CNRS researcher at Université Paris-Saclay. In 2024, she is appointed Associate Professor at NYUAD to continue her work on the ecology and (epi-)genomic bases of the response of crop trees and their wild relatives to global changes (climate change and parasite outbreak).
