Dr. Mohammad Al Rifaee, Department of Crop Production, National Agricultural Research Center, Jordan

He is a Senior Researcher in Saline Agriculture and got his PhD from the University of Jordan, where he was engaged in culture and adaptation native wild and medicinal plant species from Jordan.

He is the vice head of NARC for stations. And His research is engaged in saline agriculture of major crops in Jordan, where he investigate the suitability of local and international accessions including wheat (durum and bread), maize, rice, faba bean, chickpeas, vetches and others. He is planting accessions in multiple locations in Jordan for agronomic evaluation. He is also engaged in forge crops such as maize, alfalfa and saltbush.  

He published more than 30 publications in the field, and he is engaged in multiple national committees related to field crops and saline agriculture. ​
