Dr. Ezz Al-Dein Al-Ramamneh, Department of Plant Protection and Production, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan
He is an Assoc Prof of Plant Science, he received his PhD fro m Leibniz University of Hanover, Germany.
He is a faculty (teaching and research) at Balqa University, he was stationed in Al-Shoubak branch for several years before moving to major campus as Salt city.
His research is focused on climate change and global warming as they affect plant growth and development. His is mainly interested in fruit trees including apricots. He is studying chilling hours as affected by weather change on several cultivars. He studies both physiological and agronomic parameters in addition to the molecular level, where he is interested in RNAseq and differential gene expression along accumulated chilling periods. He is also interested in plant tissue culture and isolation of major compound from aromatic plants.
He has more than 40 publications in the field and is engaged in local related committees.
