Dr. Hmoud AL Debei, Department of Horticulture and Crop Science, School of Agriculture, University of Jordan, Jordan

He is an Assoc Prof of Vegetable Production and received his PhD from Italy working with vegetable production systems.

He is specialized in vegetable production using traditional and cutting-edge hydroponic systems applying smart farming technologies. He is an expert in growing all vegetables including tomato, cucumber, pepper, eggplant, squash, strawberry, lettuce, carrot and others. He is engaged in research for optimal growth conditions in greenhouse and open field environments.

He published more than 15 publication in the field and advised multiple MSc students. He is engaged in multiple national committees including Ministry of Agriculture for protection of plant varieties and the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization.​
