The Public Health Institute, in collaboration with the Joanna Briggs Institute at the University of Adelaide, Australia, and the Systematic Reviews Research Group, successfully concluded an advanced training in the JBI Comprehensive Systematic Review Training Program (JCSRTP).
The five-day course brought together more than 22 faculty members from health and scientific faculties, in addition to a number of interested students, reflecting the growing interest in strengthening research capacities in line with international standards.
The course was delivered by Professor Diana Arabiat from the School of Nursing and the Public Health Institute (PHI) at the University of Jordan. In addition to Professor Lisa Whitehead from Edith Cowan University in Australia. The training covered advanced topics in systematic review methodology and meta-analysis of both qualitative and quantitative evidence, contributing to enhanced research skills and the advancement of evidence-based practice.
This initiative is part of The University of Jordan’s ongoing efforts to promote evidence-based research and build researchers’ capacities in line with global trends in health and applied sciences. It positively contributes to improving the quality of research outputs and health services in Jordan, while further strengthening the University of Jordan’s position as a leading center for scientific research at the regional and international levels.
