Innovtions in Sustainable Architecture, Urban and Technology

Updating the construction process in Jordan involves advancements in building techniques, economics, and climate considerations, given the country's tough economic situation. Therefore, innovative and sustainable solutions are necessary to alleviate societal challenges and create cost-effective design opportunities that enhance the built environment. The goal is to achieve zero-energy building operations and improve energy efficiency, all while respecting the environment and reducing emissions. This includes designing building walls to withstand high summer temperatures and low winter temperatures effectively. Additionally, it involves developing new construction materials from recyclable materials to manage construction costs and environmental impact. Published research has introduced architectural solutions tailored to citizens' income levels, optimizing energy use for both summer and winter seasons, and respecting architectural preferences and local aesthetics. Specific attention has been given to techniques for external building walls. Through published research, Aqaba city has been redesigned to ensure ongoing activities and daily life, even during outbreaks of infectious diseases, with proposed design standards focused on practical implementation and economically feasible adjustments.
