The research group received the Early Career Research Networking grant from the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA) for its research entitled "Navigating the Resilience-Sustainability Paradox: Insights from Supply Chain and Ecosystem Perspectives". EurOMA is an international network of academics and practitioners from around the world who have a common interest in the continuing development of Operations Management. EurOMA is a European-based network with rapidly growing international links, whereby members can share their ideas, knowledge, and experience. It is a communication network that bridges the gap between research and practice.
Dr. Rima Al Hasan received the Emerald Literati Award: Outstanding Reviewer in 2024 from the International Journal of Production and Operations Management (Scopus Q1, ABS 4 journal)
Dr. Sadaf Aman and Prof. Stefan Seuring published a paper titled "Supply Chain Management, University of Kassel, KasselAnalysing developing countries approaches of supply chain resilience to COVID-19" at the The International Journal of Logistics Management in 2023. This paper is part of a project titled "“Exploring focal firm’s performance features in BoP SC management – taking the case of Pakistan” Funded by DAAD Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD, German Academic Exchange Service)
Dr. Marta Riquelme-Medina, University of Granada, Spain, and her co-authors received “Harry Boer Best Paper Award" in 2021 from the European operations management association for their paper: Business Ecosystem Embeddedness: Improving Supply Chain Competence through External Knowledge capacities.
