Dr. Sadaf Aman: Otto-von-Guericke-Universität, Germany

Dr. Sadaf Aman started her PhD in April 2019 on a project that DAAD funded. It was a collaboration between the University of Kassel, Germany and Information Technology University (ITU), Pakistan. At that time, she was working as a research associate at ITU and was chosen to become a part of this grant based on her analytical skills and commitment to learning. She worked at ITU for 2 years from April 2018 till June 2020. Apart from that, she has industrial experience of almost 9 months by working with an FMCG csompany and an internship in Pakistan. Moreover, she completed her PhD in July, 2022 with magna cum laude. Her doctoral thesis comprises 5 chapters. 4 chapters from the dissertation are successfully published in ABS ranked peer reviewed journals. So far, she has published her papers in Technovation, International Journal of Operations and Production Management (IJOPM), and International Journal of Logistics Management (IJLM) and Business Strategy and the Environment (BSE). One chapter from her dissertation comprises a book chapter which is currently under review for a book edited by Prof. Joseph Sarkis. Besides that, she has presented her work at various conference such as EuROMA, NOFOMA, Decision Science Institute. Her data collection skills include both primary and secondary data collection and she holds data analysis skills through the use of softwares such as Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) through PLS algorithm and Maximum likelihood (AMOS), Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression; contingency analysis and content analysis using tools such as MAXQDA.
