Over the past two weeks, Dr Oumama had the privilege of participating in an academic tour across Europe, beginning with the BRAIS 2025 Conference at the University of Cambridge (30 June – 1 July). During this international gathering, Dr Oumama presented a paper on Hadith criticism of historical accounts related to the Prophet’s biography, as viewed by both Hadith scholars and historians. The conference brought together inspiring scholars and researchers from across the world.

Then  She travelled to Vienna to take part in the European Academy of Religion (EuARe 2025) Conference, held from 8–12 July, at the University of Vienna, where she had the opportunity to organise a full panel dedicated to Imām al-Bukhārī and his methodology in his Ṣaḥīḥ, in collaboration with fellow researchers from the UK and Germany. Over the five days, she also participated in a range of academic and social events that fostered meaningful dialogue and knowledge exchange on multiple levels.​
