Members of the Human Motivation and Autonomy research group highlighted the role of autonomy and self-motivation in community engagement during a blood donation campaign held at the School of Sport Sciences, University of Jordan, on 7 December 2025. The participation of staff and course participants from the General Secretariat of the Police Sports Federation reflected intrinsically motivated, voluntary action grounded in social responsibility, reinforcing partnerships between academic institutions and the Public Security Directorate while promoting a culture of altruism, civic engagement, and self-determined prosocial behaviour.
