In October 2024, Dr Mohammad Aburumman, joined by Professor Carl Knutsen, one of the PIs of the V-Dem Institute at the University of Oslo, discussed the Jordanian experience in democratisation in a session moderated by Anas Aldabbas. The Politics and Society Insitute organised the conference in partnership with the Prince Hussein School of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Jordan through a contribution by the Royal Norwegian embassy in Amman.​
