About:

Dr. Mohammad Abu Altaieb's research is strongly centered on motivation and its role in enhancing athletic performance and learning. He has extensively explored the relationship between motivation, psychological skills, and sports performance, particularly focusing on how self-efficacy, mindfulness, and psychological compatibility impact athletes' success. His studies have shed light on how motivational strategies, such as positive self-talk and movement imagery training, contribute to improved learning and performance in sports like swimming and volleyball.

In addition to motivation, Dr. Abu Altaieb’s research interests extend to sports biomechanics, such as kinematic analyses in boxing and physiological responses to exercise, as seen in his work on carbohydrate mouth rinsing during fasting. He has also examined life skills acquisition through physical education, focusing on how teaching methods and educational courses impact the development of students’ psychological, academic, and physical skills. His research on competitive anxiety and psychological compatibility further highlights his interest in the psychological dimensions of athletic performance. As the vice president of the Jordan Paralympic committee, Dr Abu Altaieb plays an essential role in enhancing the well-being of the Paralympic athletes in Jordan
