The Degree to Which Basic Stage Teachers Apply the Standards of The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) From the Point of View of Their Supervisors in Jordan

The study aimed to explore the degree to which basic stage teachers apply the standards of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) from the point of view of their supervisors. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used the descriptive survey method. After checking the validity and reliability of study instrument, which was consisting of (40) items, it was distributed to (171) male and female supervisors from education directorates in the capital Amman and Al-Balqa Governorate during the scholastic year 2022/2023.  The researchers used stratified random method to select study sample. The results showed that the degree to which basic stage teachers apply the standards of ISTE from the point of view of their supervisors was moderate. Further, they showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree to which basic stage teachers apply the standards of ISTE from the point of view of their supervisors due to the variables of the educational region, specialization, and academic qualifications. Considering these results, it was recommended to develop electronic courses that aim to meet teachers' technological needs and train them to implement ISTE standards. Further, an educational guide should be designed to help teachers integrate technology using ISTE standards.
