We are aiming for leveraging our partnerships with the industry for our belief that such partnerships can significantly enhance scientific research results by providing access to additional resources, expertise, and real-world data. Collaborating with industry allows us to apply our work to practical problems, making the research more relevant and impactful. These partnerships also facilitate knowledge exchange between academia and industry, allowing us to gain insights into current market trends, consumer demands, and emerging technologies.
First, we will benefit from the business school collaboration with Ingot company (https://www.ingotbrokers.com.jo/en/) that we have already signed an MOU with. Ingot will be a main source of our needed financial data through providing us with access to their “FactSet" database.
Second, we will benefit from Int@j group (https://intaj.net/); a prominent organization representing Jordan's Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) sectors. It works to create a favorable business environment, attract investments, and promote Jordan as a hub for technology and innovation in the Middle East. Mr. Nidal Al-Bitar , the CEO of Int@j group, is a member of our research group and through his collaboration we will be able to participate in Int@j's initiatives, events, and partnerships, that play a key role in driving digital transformation and contributing to the country's economic development. And accordingly, this can steer research toward addressing pressing societal or economic needs, making the results more applicable.
