Dr. Natalia is an Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Denmark, where she works in the Department of Environmental and Resource Engineering. Her research focuses on identifying key parameters to quantify the impact of indoor daylighting and lighting on human responses. She has developed simplified approaches to estimate the effects of lighting, daylighting, and views to the outside on learning, work performance, and well-being in buildings.

Dr. Natalia contributed to the revision of the Daylighting Performance chapter of the Brazilian National Standard (NBR-15575), supporting the definition of the database, data analysis, and the development of a graphical tool for assessing daylighting performance. She has also participated in international collaborations focused on daylighting research and occupant behavior.
