​ ​Dr. Khawla Maayah is an assistant professor in applied climatology and physical geography. She worked as a lecturer and trainer for the Ministry of Education in Jordan and received a distinguished teacher award presented by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah for the first place in the Kingdom for excellence in education and creativity. Dr. Khawla intrest in Applied Climate, Climate Change, The environment, and Water resources. Dr. Khawla worked at Faculty of Arts & Humanities, Department of Social Sciences, Taibah University/ Madinah, Saudi Arabia.​
