Dr. Yazan Alshamaileh, an Associate Professor, imparts his knowledge at the prestigious King Abdullah II School for Information Technology, situated within the esteemed University of Jordan. His academic background encompasses a BSc in Computer Information Systems from Mu'tah University in Jordan, an MSc in Business Information Technology from Northumbria University in England, and a Ph.D. in e-Business from the University of Newcastle in the UK.

His areas of expertise include consumer behavior and the adoption of Information and Communication Technology innovations in businesses. He has published his research papers in reputable international conferences and high-impact Q1 and Q2 ISI journals, earning over 1000 citations.

He possesses a confident and positive personality and a strong work ethic. His work focuses on  SMART CITIES and on creating new value through the exploitation of entrepreneurial opportunities, and innovation within various industries. His research interests center on electronic systems and their sub-domains such as E-Commerce, E-Decision, E-Government, E-Health, and Social Networks. He studies E-Systems Concepts, Developments, and Applications and how digital technologies can revolutionize organizations and societies. Specifically, His research aims to enhance our understanding of how e-Systems technologies impact the social and business environment, organizational strategies, and business models.


Based on his qualifications, he is equipped with the knowledge and skills required to excel in a reputable company or institution in his field. As a result, he is actively seeking opportunities to apply his expertise and experience in a challenging and competitive work environment that fosters professional growth, allowing me to deliver exceptional results.

My teaching philosophy centers on empowering learners to become self-sufficient individuals by creating a learner-centered environment. I strive to contribute to the advancement of the education system in Jordan by promoting a culture of creativity, sustainability, and excellence. My approach emphasizes the development of human, social, and economic capabilities through the application of modern educational models. Rather than simply providing answers, my goal is to teach students how to learn, encouraging them to become independent learners who can thrive in any situation.​
