Dr. Ons Al-Shamaileh is a faculty member at Zayed University- United Arab Emirates. She earned her MSc and PhD degrees in E-business technology and Interactive Systems from the University of Manchester, UK. Before joining Zayed University, Dr. Ons taught at the University of Manchester, Hamdan Bin Mohammad Smart University, and served as the Director of the Information Technology Management program at the American University in the Emirates. Her research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, and Social Networks.

Beyond her academic roles, Dr. Ons has served as a User Experience consultant for various projects in the UK and UAE. She is a certified EFQM assessor, UX Master certified from Nielsen Norman Group (NN/g) in London and is a senior member of IEEE. Dr. Ons is also recognized as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.​
