Zoonotic diseases conference

A conference was held and organized in the school of medicine about infectious diseases and the diseases transmitted by animals.  After that conference, we started planning for a study about brucellosis in animals.

This conference focused on zoonotic diseases—those transmitted between animals and humans—bringing together experts in public health, veterinary science, environmental science, and policy-making to explore the interconnectedness of ecosystems and human health. Participants will discuss emerging threats, prevention strategies, and the "One Health" approach to address the complex challenges of zoonosis.

Conference objectives:

  1. Increase awareness of zoonotic diseases and their global impact.
  2. Promote interdisciplinary collaboration under the One Health paradigm.
  3. Strengthen capacities for prevention, surveillance, and outbreak response.
  4. Develop actionable recommendations for policymakers and stakeholders.
