Collaboration is at the heart of our research group's mission. By partnering with research centers, industrial companies, and governmental organizations, we enhance the quality, reach, and impact of our work. These partnerships support applied research, provide access to technical resources, and offer joint funding opportunities, enabling us to address real-world industrial challenges and deliver innovative solutions with societal and academic relevance.
Our partnerships are categorized as follows:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI)

The Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) plays a key role in strengthening collaboration between academia and the industrial sector through its annual University Industrial Graduation Projects Program. This initiative invites engineering students from Jordanian universities to implement their graduation projects in real industrial settings, based on actual factory needs outlined by ACI.
Each year, our department receives an invitation from ACI to participate in this program, which includes:
This partnership aligns closely with our research group's goal of promoting real-world, impact-driven learning, and has led to several successful collaborative projects in the manufacturing sector.

Launched in 2003 by the University of Jordan, the Faculty for Factory (FFF) Program is a national initiative designed to foster genuine collaboration between academic institutions and the industrial sector. The program was created to strengthen the role of applied scientific research in supporting the national economy and to enhance the technological foundation of industrial development in Jordan.
The FFF Program has evolved into a recognized national platform that enables direct engagement between faculty members and industrial firms. By aligning academic expertise with real industrial needs, the program ensures that applied projects meet both academic objectives and industry expectations. It plays a critical role in identifying the actual challenges faced by companies and addressing them through targeted, research-based solutions.
The Faculty for Factory Program has been widely acknowledged by both industry and academia for its effective role in bridging gaps, clarifying expectations, and overcoming long-standing barriers to cooperation. Through this partnership, our research group contributes to advancing innovation, improving competitiveness, and reinforcing the integration of academic knowledge into practical industrial applications.
The Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) is a key national professional body that actively supports engineering education, research, and practice across Jordan. As part of its commitment to advancing the engineering profession, JEA collaborates with universities and research groups to promote innovation, applied learning, and the practical implementation of engineering knowledge.
Our research group works closely with JEA through various joint initiatives, including the Annual Graduation Project Competition for Industrial Engineering, organized in collaboration with the Amman Chamber of Industry. This competition offers students the opportunity to present applied projects implemented within industrial settings, demonstrating both academic rigor and real-world relevance.
Beyond competitions, JEA provides technical support, expert evaluation, and a professional platform for showcasing impactful research conducted by students and faculty members. This partnership helps align academic outputs with national engineering priorities, ensuring that emerging engineers are equipped with the competencies and experiences necessary to contribute effectively to Jordan’s industrial growth.
The collaboration with JEA reinforces our group’s mission to integrate academic excellence with practical impact, and to strengthen the bridge between academia and the professional engineering community in Jordan.
