Partnerships

Future collaboration with the Royal Jordanian Geographic Center is envisioned to involve shared interests in mapping practices, geographic technologies, and the study of spatial data. This potential partnership aligns with the group’s commitment to interdisciplinary work and may include knowledge exchange, joint activities, or support in areas related to cartography and countermapping.

We have an ongoing collaboration with Lancaster University, An-Najah National University, and the Council for British Research in the Levant (CBRL) through the Countermapping Urban Palestine project. As part of this collaboration, our research group’s Principal Investigator is a part of the core research team of the sister research group—contributing to efforts to develop “countermaps” that document and remap Palestinian urban space through literary, testimonial, and spatial data.
