In April 2025, the University of Jordan collaborated with Lancaster University and An-Najah National University to hold a research workshop exploring the intersections of mapping, memory, and identity, with a focus on how spatial understanding shapes personal and collective experiences. The workshop was co-led by Dr. Bayan AlAmmouri (The University of Jordan) and Dr. Lindsey Moore (Lancaster University), and was organized through coordination between the Department of English Literature, the Department of Geography, and the Computer Science Department at the University of Jordan.
