​Professor Hazem Hiary received his PhD in Computer Science / Image Processing from the University of Leeds (Leeds, UK) in 2008, B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Jordan (Jordan) in 2001 and 2003 respectively. He is currently a Full Professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Jordan. His research interests include Image Processing, Computer Vision, Document Analysis and Recognition, and Multimedia applications.​​
