university of jordan- faculty of Arts and Design- dancing floor- department of theatre Samir Al-Rifai Amphitheater was built in 1966 and was intended for student graduation. Later, it was transformed into a multi-purpose theater. Now, it falls under the jurisdiction of the Theater Department at the Faculty of Arts and Design - University of Jordan.This multi-purposes auditorium includes meetings with the dean, seminars, and a place to discuss graduation projects in the theater department. It is sometimes used for a small concert.In 2024, two small theaters were established inside the halls of the Department of Theater. They contain a small stage, simple lighting, and sound system equipment that enables students to implement their practical projects through them.Smart classrooms were established in 2025 in most college halls using a computer equipped with microphones and cameras to ensure maximum benefit from modern technology.
The college has a very large front yard which is used in the summer for artistic performances such as: theatrical performances, musical performances and singing.
