Samir Al-Rifai Amphitheater was built in 1966 and was intended for student graduation. Later, it was transformed into a multi-purpose theater. Now, it falls under the jurisdiction of the Theater Department at the Faculty of Arts and Design - University of Jordan.



This multi-purposes auditorium includes meetings with the dean, seminars, and a place to discuss graduation projects in the theater department. It is sometimes used for a small concert.​


In 2024, two small theaters were established inside the halls of the Department of Theater. They contain a small stage, simple lighting, and sound system  equipment that enables students to implement their practical projects through them.


​Smart classrooms were established in 2025 in most college halls using a computer equipped with microphones and cameras to ensure maximum benefit from modern technology.

The faculty consists of three departments: the Department of Visual Arts, the Department of Music, and the Department of Theatre Arts.




This gallery includes all the productions of students from the Department of Visual Arts and
 sometimes hosts exhibitions of prominent artists from outside the university.​

The Department of Fine Arts hosts drawing workshops by distinguished Arab artists to work with the department's students.


The Music Department has halls for students to train in playing and singing.

The Department of Visual Arts has a sculpture studio using plaster or various metals to teach sculpture students.

The college has a very large front yard which is used in the summer for artistic performances such as: theatrical performances, musical performances and singing.​
