​Professor Dr. Arej Othman, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Jordan, took part in an awareness-raising meeting held in conjunction with the global campaign to combat violence. During the event, she highlighted domestic violence and its impact on women and children, stressing that nursing staff represent the first line of defense in identifying cases, reporting them, and providing protection and support to victims within the healthcare system. The meeting was attended by students of the faculty and human-rights advocates as part of broader efforts to strengthen community awareness and build a safer environment for families.
