​Khaldoun Shatanawi is an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering and Director of the Water, Energy, and Environment Center at The University of Jordan. He holds a Ph.D. from Clemson University and has over 20 years of expertise in water resources, hydrology and climate change. He leads the Water and Environment Committee at the Jordan Engineers Association and he was team member of the Jordan Economic Modernization Vision in the water sector. He has managed several research projects and published over 50 papers in water and environmental engineering. ​
