This research addresses stakeholder participation in prioritizing water supply and demand to assist water resource entities and water users on decision making when coping with water scarcity, climate change and contaminated water in Zarqa River Basin, Jordan. Most of the stakeholders agreed that management issues are the major cause of water scarcity and the water problems are 50% associated with poor management and 50% to water scarcity.This case was carried out in Jordan and is one of the comparative studies with Italy, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, and Oman through the ERANETMED CrITERIA project.
