About:

​​Raed T. Al-Zubi received PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering /Wireless communications and Networking from University of Arizona-USA, in 2010. His PhD thesis was under supervision of Prof. Marwan Krunz. Prof. Al-Zubi was granted a full scholarship from the University of Jordan-Jordan to get his PhD degree. He received BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the university of Jordan- Jordan, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. He is currently a full professor at the department of electrical engineering in the University of Jordan. His current research interests include system architecture, communication protocol designs for wireless networks with emphasis on cross-layer designs for ultra-wideband (UWB) networks, wireless sensor networks, cognitive radio networks, biometrics, pattern recognition, optical communications, and image processing. He served as a reviewer in different reputable international conferences and scientific journals. He served as a dean assistant for student affairs in the college of Engineering- the university of Jordan from Sept 2016 to Oct. 2017. Also, he was the chairman of electrical engineering department- the university of Jordan during Oct. 2017 to Oct. 2019.​
