About:

Prof. Al-Salaymeh is Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Carbon Reduction Manager (CRM). Authorized trainer for the Association of Energy Engineer-AEE, USA. Team member / Reviewer for Environmental, health and safety of Cadmium Telluride (CdTe) Photovoltaic Technology and evaluator for the First Solar PV production facility. Prof. Al-Salaymeh is also an expert in the Field of Energy Regulation. He taught Energy Regulation course under the frame of the master program of Regulation and Competition in cooperation with the college of Europe. Prof. Al-Salaymeh attended many courses and training sessions in the field of Energy Regulation. Also, he has research in the field of water regulation. He published many scientific works in the field of feasibility and economic investigations of utilizing renewable energy sources in Jordan. Also, he supervised many B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. students who conducted their research in the field of fluid mechanics and renewable energy.

Also, Prof. Al-Salaymeh is continually active in the field of green energy and climate change. At the end of 2011, Prof. Al-Salaymeh got an EU-Tempus project for 4 years about the establishment of a master program in environmental engineering and climate change. He was the general coordinator of the project which has partners from Germany, Austria, Portugal, and Syria in addition to other Jordanian universities. The project was funded by EU in cooperation with universities from Germany, Austria, and Portugal. He established the Master program in the field of Environment Technology and Climate Change at the University of Jordan and the study was started at the University since September 2013. Also, Prof. Al-Salaymeh was the local coordinator for the establishment of the master program in the field of Renewable Eenrgt in cooperation with UK, Italy, and Portugal.
