Dr. Martin Hauer is a postdoctoral researcher in the field of energy efficiency in buildings, with a
particular focus on the improvement of coupled simulation and measurement methods to enhance a
building's daylight utilization and energy efficiency via complex facade systems. After his graduation
he continued as postdoc researcher. In March 2019, he joined the Research ; Development group at
Bartenbach GmbH, with a strong focus on daylighting research and their connection to building
physics. In June 2021 he rejoined the Unit of Energy Efficient Building at University of Innsbruck as a
postdoc researcher. Focus on developing enhancing measurement systems for visual and thermal
façade evaluation and integration of BIM ; BEM methods. He gained experience in participating in
national and international research projects and is the author of several publications in international
conferences and peer-reviewed scientific journals.
