His Ph.D. dissertation, "The Image of Poetry in Modern Jordanian Art," presents a groundbreaking analysis of poetry's influence on contemporary Jordanian painting and graphic art. In addition to his scholarly contributions, Dr. Al-Amiri is a celebrated artist, known for his extensive exhibitions and innovative techniques that blend traditional themes with modern artistic expression.

Throughout his career, Dr. Al-Amiri has held prominent administrative roles, including Deputy Dean for Administrative and Academic Affairs and Head of the Visual Arts Department. He has also served on numerous academic committees, contributed to international conferences, and published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on topics ranging from contemporary Arab art to the integration of poetry and visual language. His exceptional artistic achievements have earned him prestigious awards, such as the Dubai Cultural Award for Creativity and the Jamal Badran Award.
