Dr. Ala'aldin Alrowwad is an academic with diverse research interests and a rich experience in higher education management. His research focuses on interdisciplinary fields, including Management and Organizational Behavior, Knowledge Management, and Quantitative Methods. He applies these research areas to a variety of academic and professional contexts, contributing significantly to the understanding of management practices and business strategies.
Dr. Alrowwad earned his Ph.D. in Management from Amman Arab University in 2011. He also holds an M.Sc. in Media from Middle East University and an M.Sc. in Management from the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences. Additionally, he holds a B.Sc. in Public Administration and Military Science from Mutah University, Jordan.
Throughout his career, Dr. Alrowwad has held significant academic and administrative roles. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Public Administration Department at the University of Jordan. His leadership experience includes serving as the Assistant President of the University of Jordan, Aqaba Branch, for Administrative Affairs, and as the Head of the Business Management Department at the same branch. He also served as the Director of the Consulting and Training Center and contributed to several administrative and quality assurance functions within the university.
In addition to his academic and administrative roles, Dr. Alrowwad has an extensive background in the Jordanian Armed Forces, having retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after years of service in the Directorate of Military Intelligence and the Directorate of Moral Guidance. His expertise in security and strategic management is further underscored by his leadership of various committees and involvement in the development of academic and professional programs.
Dr. Alrowwad’s teaching contributions span numerous courses, including Business Management, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Marketing Management, and Research Methods for Business. He is also involved in courses related to military strategy and communication, applying his broad knowledge of both public administration and military security to develop robust, practical curricula.
Throughout his career, Dr. Alrowwad has actively participated in various committees related to academic and strategic planning, further cementing his role as a leader in both the academic and administrative realms.
