About:

Professor Hamed Saqer Al-Bdour is a distinguished academic and researcher in computer engineering and information technology. He holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine (KPI), where his thesis focused on optimizing load in corporate computer networks. He also earned a Master of Technical Sciences from the same institution, reflecting his strong foundation in advanced computing systems and network design.

Professor Al-Bdour has held prominent academic positions throughout his career, including Professor roles at Mu’tah University, the University of Jordan in Aqaba, and Umm Al-Qurqa University. His leadership experience includes serving as Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Systems and Assistant President at the University of Jordan, Aqaba Branch. Additionally, he has served as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science, Head of the Information Technology Department, and Assistant Dean at Mu’tah University.

An expert educator, Professor Al-Bdour has taught a wide range of courses in computer science and engineering, including Programming Languages, Digital Systems Design, Computer Architecture, Microprocessor and Assembly Language, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, E-Commerce, Web Design, and Graduation Projects. His dedication extends beyond the classroom through his participation in numerous academic and administrative committees, such as quality assurance, graduate studies, IT strategy, e-learning, and higher education accreditation.

His research interests encompass computer architectures, computer networks, mobile networks, operating systems, and network security. He has contributed to ongoing research on topics like secure information transfer, hierarchical scheduling for GRID systems, and data exchange efficiency in multiprocessor systems. Professor Al-Bdour is actively engaged in the academic community, serving on technical committees for international conferences and as a reviewer for academic publications.

In addition to his teaching and research contributions, he has played a vital role in shaping the academic and technological strategies of institutions where he has worked, emphasizing quality assurance and innovation. Professor Al-Bdour is also a member of respected professional organizations, including the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) and the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT).
