Diana Arabiat is a Professor of Nursing Research within the School of Nursing at the University of Jordan (UJ) in Amman and an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Research and Innovation at Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Australia.  Diana also holds the roles of director of The JBI The University of Jordan Health Research Centre, and is an Associate Investigator, Centre for the Digital Child ECU Node in Australia. Her previous positions include the roles of Head of Maternal and Child Department and currently the Head of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Health Informatics at the Public Health Institute at the JU. Diana is a member of the editorial team of number of prestigious journals and is an active member of the International Family Nursing Association, sitting on the Practice Committee.​
