Currently works as an associate professor of medicine at University of Jordan Faculty of Medicine. Consultant Endocrinologist at the JUH. Served previously as chairman of the Internal Medicine Department at Jordan University Hospital (JUH) and as the internal medicine residency program director at JUH, and as the head of the Diabetes and Endocrinology Section/ Consultant Internal Medicine/ Endocrinologist at Al- Habib Medical Center (Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

Completed a Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Illinois at Chicago (USA), and served as the chief Medical Resident at Mercy Catholic Medical Center (Darby, Pennsylvania - USA) after completing an internal medicine residency at the same hospital.

Certifications include the American board of endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism, the American board of internal medicine, the Jordanian Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, and the Jordanian Board in Internal Medicine.
