​Dr. Violet Kasabri is a renowned biomedical scientist and professor at the University of Jordan, specializing in pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, and natural product pharmacology. Her research focuses on antidiabetic, anticancer, and anti-obesity agents derived from traditional medicinal plants. She earned her PhD from the University of Ulster, with earlier degrees from the University of Jordan.

Dr. Kasabri has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals and has received numerous awards for her research excellence and scientific output. Her work includes pharmacological evaluations, metabolic disorder interventions, and natural product-based nanomedicines. She is also a dedicated mentor, supervising MSc and PhD students and contributing to patents on novel therapeutics.

Her international collaborations, including with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and her commitment to integrating traditional medicine with modern biomedical science, highlight her influential role in advancing interdisciplinary health research.
